2 Day Open (AV) Retriever Field Trial Thursday 22nd October and Friday 23rd October 2026 

A fantastic few days at Checkley for Usk Valleys 2 day open trial.

Thank you Ivor and the Bevis family for such sporting birds it’s made the trial run smoothly with the usual banter.

Our judges Tim, John, Paul and Craig a huge thank you not only for judging but making it such a lovely few days.

Norm, our wonderful guns Sally, John and Sam you have been spot on with the birds, it’s been a pleasure having such superb shots.

Sandra without your knowledge and help I’d be lost, thank you for teaching me so much. I have enjoyed every soggy step it’s been brilliant fun!

My helpers, a huge thank you, for helping me out last minute it’s been so good to meet you and I’m very grateful for your help.
