HRP Novice Field Trial
held at Ammerdown Estate, Radstock, Bath
on Monday 13th January 2020

On behalf of the Committee, we would like to extend our congratulations to Simon and Pauline Kirby on the success of running our first HPR Novice Field Trial.  The feedback in the last 24 hours has been exceptional.  Both Simon and Pauline have worked tremendously hard with the support of many others over the last 12 months to grow the HPR section of the Club, hosting a number of working tests on great grounds and now our field trial.  Thank you, on behalf of the committee to all the clubs and individuals who have supported us to get where we are today.  We look forward to a successful future with you all.

The following has been posted on behalf of our HPR Field Trial Secretary, Simon Kirby.

🐾 HPR Field Trial Results 🐾

A very proud day today for Usk Valley Working Gundog Club for holding our first Novice Field Trial at Ammerdown Estate, Radstock, Bath.  Thank you to Lord Hilton for permission to use the grounds for our Trial.

First of all, I would like to thank the club and the committee members, especially Debra Bird and Trudy Hillier who have been on hand to help and support us throughout.  A special thanks to all the Field Trial secretaries, clubs and judges who wrote letters of support to make the day possible.
The day ran fantastically with the help of Shirley Mattravers handling her picking up dog and Mac Mattravers, who was a superb red flag marshall and kept everyone safe.  A huge thanks to our judges, A Panel judge Larry Wilks, who has helped and supported our club, not just today, but over the last 2 years along with Brenda Moss. Thank you to our Non Panel judge, Howard Kirby who completed an outstanding team of judges.  Thank you to all of our competitors for your support and making our day a success.
We were really pleased to have four awards:
1st Place  Ynyslas Bella Bee (GWP)  Ian Jones
2nd Place  Radipole Chasseresse (KG)  Mark Taylor
COM  Northey Emperor Del Acquadora (HV)  Susan Northwood
COM  Nemzet Kincse Gummy Bear of Magyar (HV)  Adrian Shaw
A massive thank you to Jon Roberts Sanjon, Mark Spearing, Gavin Hendy and Bob Hendy, who as always, shot absolutely outstanding and for supporting myself and the club today.  We would also like to thank Alan Woodward of Alfee Images for being our photographer for the day.  Steve Jones for making judges sticks.  Laura Jones for providing us with delicious cake.
Thank you again for your continued support and we look forward to welcoming you all again soon.
